Despite that, OKW can be some pretty mean defenses with their potent units as well. OKW utilizes expensive, strong infantry squads and vehicles that can make breakthroughs with well conducted assaults. There's not really a faction that sacrifices quality one of type of unit for the other, just a different scale of quality and price (thus affecting quantity/ease of acquisition minorly yet sufficiently) British has both potent infantry and weapon teams. The worse of USF's weapon teams would be the pretty early mortar and AT gun's performance again heavier tanks, which can be remedied with the AP rounds. OKW's only lackluster weapon support team would be the MG, (and Raketen to an extent). I wouldn't really say that's a descriptive or good summary of the factions. You need to find a build for each battle(to react and counter axis).
Hold and deny ground with mgs and mortars, assault with light armor and good late armor OKW: early game infantry faction with late armor options.
